Same age. Same great and impressive body of work. Both running for the Oscar of Best Supporting Role. Both are running on their second nomination. They’ve never won. One is favorite for the award; other is completely the opposite. But I sincerely hope for a tie between Max von Sydow and Christopher Plummer. Whatever the characters they play they’re outstanding. They’re my bet!
